IMMEDIATE NEEDS LIST

If you are coming to Bongolo Hospital as a visitor and can bring any of the following, these items are now needed:

1. Vancomycin vials for IV use for treatment of shunt infections.
2. Dental anesthesia (vials)
3. Loratidine (Claritin) 10 mg (available as a generic at WalMart)
4. Metronidazole (Flagyl), IV for intravenous admin.
5. Diphenhydramine (Benedryl) oral
6. Bactrim IV (Trimethoprim and Sulfamethoxazole) for Intravenous. admin.
7. Fluconazole Intraveneous
8. Xeroform gauze
9. Bacitracin Ointment
10. Ephedrin

Bongolo Hospital Building Projects

October 2007 An eleven member team from Florida arrived to do finishing of the AIDS/HIV Outpatient Clinic and also to begin foundational work on a Quad-Plex (four apartment unit).
November 2007 We had visitors from various churches. They continued work on Bongolo's first steel building, the apartment complex.
December 2007 Some floors and cement walls are done by the African team.


 







February 2008 The QuadPlex is progressing nicely. Look at photos below.

Dr. Wayne and Suzanne Spronk


Dr. Wayne and Suzanne Spronk and their three children Pascal, Emma and Andre have spent two long "short terms" at the hospital. In August 2007 they returned to New York after a six month stay. Read about their trip at Denpub.com.

SHORT TERM MISSIONS OFFICE
of the Christian and Missionary Alliance


The STMO goal is to connect Alliance people with Alliance work around the world. It wants to expose and motivate churches to do ministry worldwide.



Tim and Meredith Brokopp (pictured above) are leading the STMO team ministries in Libreville. They have hosted large teams of visitors from US Alliance churches, helping these visitors to get involved in ministries with the Gabonese churches in and near Libreville.

AIDS/HIV CLINIC PROJECT




October 2007 Visitors came from Florida to paint the AIDS/HIV Outpatient Clinic buiding. they also hung cupboards and worked on the electric lines.
December 2007- Visitors finshed putting in light fixtures, electric boxes, etc.

At the C&MA Council held in Florida in May 2007 there was an offering taken for AIDS/HIV Treatment. The Bongolo Hospital has received some of this offering for which we are grateful.
